Barney Smith is recruiting for a development chemist to work at an expanding chemical company based in the North East of England.

In this development chemist role you will be responsible for conceiving and developing new ideas, concepts and technologies that can be used to develop new and existing products, provide technical support to customers and sales teams, ensure regulatory and environmental guidelines including upkeep of data sheets and REACh, and mentor other personnel as and when required.

To qualify for this development chemist position you must be qualified to minimum BSc in chemistry or related subject or possess equivalent industrial experience.  You must also have a proven track record in working in organic chemistry or^polymer development in a commercial environment including some scale-up experience.
