QC Analyst

This candidate has recently completed a contract QC testing role with a global manufacturer of personal care and household cleaning products and is now looking for a new role.
He has covered a wide variety of testing including HPLC, IR and wet chemisty analysis such as titrations and viscosity testing to name but a few.
He has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Analytical and Forensic Chemistry from the University of Hull.
He is immediately available and can attend interview at short notice.

Chemist/Analyst

This candidate has experience from both the personal care and the chemical industry where she has worked as an analyst and chemist.
She has a wide range of testing experience in analysis using HPLC, SPME, GC-MS, GC-FID and GC-MS, and her work involved helping to improve the method used to extract perfumes from a variety of home and personal care products, using different methods such as SOXTHERM.
During her role as a chemist she was involved with Uranium Hexafluoride, HF and liquid nitrogen and worked to UKAS accredited standards.
She is happy to consider both temporary and permanent work and is immediately available.

Laboratory Supervisor/Analyst

Having built up his present laboratory from developing new methods (e.g.: PAH) to securing accreditations (ISO 9001 and UKAS amongst others) this candidate now looks after a team of 12 including 1 team leader.
This candidate has also gained experience of using GCMS and wet chemistry, as well as looking after calibration, maintenance, preparation of samples and reporting results. He is also familiar with LIMS.
He is a very personable and hard working candidate, and his notice period may be negotiable.
Happy to consider long term temporary and permanent positions at supervisory and analyst levels.
