This PhD candidate is an experienced research geneticist with extensive technical training and lab management skills. They have extensive experience in designing, implementing and publishing research projects as the project co-ordinator and Principal Investigator. They have also developed and managed effective QA/QC procedures, GLP and Health and Safety measures in a busy laboratory. This candidate has a comprehensive working knowledge of a broad range of molecular genetic techniques including PCR, cloning, sequencing, SNPs, AFLPs, and microsatellite fingerprinting.

They also have extensive experience of running and maintaining highly technical laboratory including sequencers, real time PCR, microplate readers and liquid handling robotics. This candidate has their own transport and will relocate for the right role.
