Candidate Screening

excellent tick boxIt is vital that the applicants CK Science presents to clients are checked to the highest standards. Therefore before forwarding candidates, we ensure that our screening process is initiated.

Applicants are requested to fill in an application form, data protection notice and equal opportunities form, they are then screened on a whole range of areas including the following.

Initial Screening

  • Confirmation of Identity
  • Current Address – Proof required
  • Qualification Certificate check
  • Employment history – 5 years including breaks in employment

Should the candidates be interested in a contract science job working as an employee of CK Science a higher level of screening is performed:

  • Qualifications – Confirmation required from awarding body
  • Referees covering last 5 years
  • Meet each potential employee and check relevant (original) documentation to ensure they have the right to work in the UK

Our dedicated Screening Officer, who is an integral part of the recruitment team, handles the screening. CK Science endeavours to ensure that no rogue applicants are presented to our clients.Once a worker is offered a contract role the final screening checklist takes place

  • Health and safety induction
  • Site specific map
  • Check bank account and tax details
  • Statement of Acknowledgement & Assignment
  • Data Protection Notice
  • Confidentiality Agreement Signed
  • Contract of Employment issued
